Objective: The Sales and Trade Marketing Intern will support the Sales and Trade Marketing teams in implementing and analyzing marketing activities and sales strategies to drive brand growth and market penetration. This role offers a hands-on experience in managing marketing projects, conducting market research, and liaising with sales teams to ensure cohesive and effective brand initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Market Research and Analysis:
- Conduct market research to identify trends, competitive analysis, and consumer insights.
- Analyze sell-out raw data on a monthly basis to identify risks/opportunities and highlight main findings.
- Assist in the development and monitoring of sales forecasts and inventory analysis.
2. Marketing Campaign Support:
- Assist in planning and executing marketing campaigns and promotions targeted at boosting brand visibility and sales.
- Support the creation of marketing materials such as brochures, flyers, digital content, planograms, and promoter briefs.
- Coordinate with external agencies on the readiness of activations.
- Prepare close-out reports for each campaign to identify the success/failure and learnings.
3. Trade Marketing:
- Help in the execution of trade marketing strategies to achieve defined business objectives.
- Coordinate in-store promotions and activities to push sell-out.
- Collaborate with retailers and distributors to ensure merchandising standards and promotional compliance.
- Follow up on branding executions, identify stores, and opportunities to increase brand visibility.
4. Administrative Tasks:
- Handle various administrative functions such as scheduling meetings, preparing marketing reports, and maintaining marketing calendars.
