Job Description: 

MAIN MISSIONS

Regular activities

  • Analyzes market trend on a long term perspective: Consumer, shopper, retailing evolution
  • Develops category vision for Bel on the cheese and snacking category : contribution to turnover, sales volume, brand image, place in the shelves
  • Develops Category strategy and tactics (field)
  • Identifies category projects & strategy in line with Bel business and brand objectives

 

Business development / Coordination activities:

  • Establish monthly business points by building dashboards on each of the retailers
  • Monthly analysis of the commercial levers on the categories and our brands in the retailers in charge
  • Delivers insightful and timely category information to the relevant contacts within customer base
  • Establish strategic plan (business review) for each customers
  • Follow the assortment: analysis of assortment movements, analysis of the performance of new products, carrying out rankings by segments and brands within each retailers, preparation of innovation sheets for resale to customers
  • Analyze merchandising: analysis of merchandising data by brand and on the market, help in the preparation of internal meetings with the merchandizing coordinators
  • Coordination:
  • Sales : provide the quantified arguments necessary for a successful sale to the sale advisor
  • Marketing: relay of the marketing strategy to the customers
  • In collaboration with KAM – category manager giving his expertise about market tendencies during customer’s meeting
  • Perfect store/Retail Excellence : develop and coordinate in-store excellence activities 
  • RGM: optimize Bel’s brands propositions based on robust analysis / be a relay for the Global RGM team

PROFILE

Master degree in business management, marketing or communication (ideally university degree)

3-5 years experience in Sales development and/or Marketing preferably in FMCG

Good knowledge of MS Office / Nielsen

Comfortable within complex and international organizations

Landscape understanding (knowledge of FMCG market)
