MAIN MISSIONS

 

Reporting to the Sr. Engineering Manager of the project and with a functional link to the Geographical Engineering Director, you will be responsible for:

  • Support the Engineering Project Manager for preparing the overall project communications and reporting on timely basis.
  • Support the Engineering Manager during the Brookings Expansion Project.
  • Support of Engineering Project Manager for all aspects of equipment deliveries and installation.
  • Directly lead Brookings Expansion (depending on type of expertise) in contact with site contractors or local suppliers. In this regard to report to the Engineering Project Manager provide frequent update (daily/weekly) to central team on overall project progress.
  • Work with & support project accountant on capex expenses (spent, committed, cash outs).
  • Use expertise and resources in Project Management to create and maintain practices from equipment design to vertical startup.
  • Work with vendors to promote and ensure a safe working environment.

 

PROFILE

  • You are an electrical or mechanical engineer specializing in food industry, processes, or industrial project management. You are familiar with the areas related to cheese production such as manufacturing, quality, safety, and the environment.
  • You are well organized and a good communicator, and are known for your rigor, particularly in respecting deadlines.
  • You demonstrate good collaboration and communication skills.
  • You are fluent in English and speaking French would be a plus.
  • You meet the following criteria below to undertake a VIE in the United States.
