Do you want to play a key role in supply chain performance by leading accurate and reliable demand forecasting? Join Bel Morocco as a Demand Planner Manager and actively contribute to building a robust demand plan aligned with business needs.
In this role, you will be responsible for developing short-, mid-, and long-term demand forecasts by combining statistical analysis, market knowledge, and close collaboration with Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain teams. You will ensure a high-quality demand planning process translated into a validated demand plan in both volume and value.
Main responsibilities
- Lead the local demand forecasting process and co-build demand plans with Sales and Marketing teams.
- Develop reliable forecasts based on statistical analysis, market trends, business assumptions, and S&OP cycles.
- Perform gap analyses versus budget, previous periods, and actuals, in both volume and value.
- Prepare and facilitate forecast meetings, including assumptions, risks, and opportunities.
- Update demand plans in planning systems and ensure data quality.
- Track forecast performance (MAD, BIAS), define improvement actions, and monitor execution.
- Work closely with supply teams to secure forecast feasibility, anticipate shortages or overstocks, and optimize inventory levels.
- Drive continuous improvement in demand planning processes, tools, and reporting.
Profile
- Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or equivalent.
- Strong experience in demand planning, supply chain, or business planning, ideally in an FMCG environment.
- Excellent command of forecasting, data analysis tools, and Excel.
- Knowledge of APS tools such as JDA or BW is a plus.
- APICS certification would be an advantage.
- Strong understanding of forecast performance indicators and market dynamics.
- Fluency in French and English; Arabic is an additional asset.
