ttached to the Plant Director, as a member of the management team, your role is to coordinate all the physical flows (packaging, raw materials, inputs, and finished products) and associated information flows of the Dole plant to satisfy internal and external customers in terms of quantity, quality, and deadlines while seeking cost optimization.

Your main missions are as follows:

Technical / Organizational:

  • Acts as the liaison between the Supply Chain Zone and production sites (definition of production commitments, representation of customer interests at sites).
  • Participates in optimizing the use of industrial tools.
  • Ensures production planning according to the site's load/capacity suitability.
  • Ensures the supply of raw materials and packaging, their storage, and their availability in production according to MRP calculation principles, with a constant focus on stock optimization.
  • Ensures the storage of finished products and their shipment to intermediate warehouses.
  • Acts as the marketing/production interface for implementing marketing action plans.
  • Ensures the reliability of logistics information systems.
  • Proposes and implements all organizational and tool developments to optimize the overall Supply Chain.
  • Actively participates in cross-functional Supply Chain projects.

Quality:

  • Complies with the requirements of IFS, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and OHSAS 18001 standards and constantly seeks to optimize process indicators.
  • Environment, Health, and Workplace Safety: Respects and enforces Hygiene, Safety, and Environmental rules.

Social:

  • Manages his staff participatively by adopting Boost initiative tools.
  • Ensures safety (particularly relying on VCS).
  • Seeks to improve working conditions, defines training needs.
  • Proposes the definition of his department's structure, participates in defining functions, sets objectives, and conducts annual reviews of his supervisors.

Management:

  • Defines the site's logistics operating budget and monitors costs (labor, services, transport, etc.).
  • Justifies discrepancies. Constantly seeks to optimize these costs.
  • Manages and seeks to optimize component stock levels at the two production sites.

Your strengths:

You have a higher education background of an engineering type, with at least 5 years of experience in the logistics field at an industrial site.

You have expertise in logistics and production information systems and a cross-functional knowledge of the supply chain.

This opportunity is part of a career path within the group that allows progression towards managerial positions such as Production Manager, Industrial Performance Manager, Plant Director, etc.
