We are looking for a

JUNIOR SALES & PROMO CONTROLLER (m/f/d)

fulltime, start as soon as possible

 

who will support controlling of our business activities in Germany and Austria.

Located in our Office in Germany, you will be part of the Finance Team and have a real operational experience and the opportunity to learn the day-day-business.

 

Main mission of this position is to support in maintaining an efficient and effective controlling-system with the aim to support actively the achievement of all volume- and profit-targets of the company and to contribute to product pricing as well as marketing investment decisions.

 

Your tasks:

  • Supporting the budget and serveral forecast processes as well as consolidate all inputs proactivively
  • Administration of Commercial agreements for Germany, Austria and Switzerland (DACH), ensuring they are in line with Customer contracts, manage off-invoice bonuses and trade promotion in PACE/SAP.

  • Prepare business results as well as budget and forecast figures, especially Sales, Sales discounts, Marketing and A&P investments

  • Compare and analyze variances between targets and actual results including explanations and comments of major discrepancies

  • Contribute to month- and year-end-closing processes in cooperation with the dedicated departments, especially accounting department

  • Maintenance of all accruals in accordance with all functional departments involved, especially Sales, Marketing and all A&P investments
  • Support for marketing and sales teams in price and margin determination in the context of new product launches and product portfolio optimization
  • Independent Preparation of recurring reports and ad hoc financial and operational analyses for the local and corporate management
  • Setting credit limits to customers in cooperation with external insurance company (COFACE), follow-up of Customer receivables with taking action if needed to secure receivables before forfeiture

 

 

 Your qualification & experience:

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree or equivalent preferably in Business Administration with a focus on Controlling, Finance and/or Accounting
  • First practical experience in the Controlling or Finance area in an international FMCG company is a plus
  • Analytical skills (e.g. statistical- and trend-calculation)

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills as well as the ability to influence and to negotiate, team-oriented
  • strong result orientation with accuracy and attention to details and holding deadlines
  • Very good software skills (Excel, Microsoft office)
  • IT experiences with SAP R/3 (FI/CO) are welcome but not mandatory

  • Accounting Knowledge
  • very good in English; German and/or French would be a plus
