Import - Export Intern

Import-Export: 80% 

  • Review, verify, and prepare shipping documentation for all import and export shipments. 

  • Coordinate and ensure timely registration of key certificates such as Health Certificates, Certificates of Origin (for exports), Import Permits, Sanitary Certificates, and Food Safety & Hygiene Certificates (for imports). 

  • Declare and manage customs clearance procedures in collaboration with internal team and 3PL. 

  • Monitor the delivery of import & export shipments to ensure smooth delivery processes and on-time arrivals. 

  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to streamline processes, ensure transparency in communication, and maintain efficient workflow. 

 

Warehousing: 20% 

  • Handle inbound import operations: notification follow-up, unloading arrangement, temperature validation, FEFO check, sample preparation, stock update, and document filing.  

  • Manage inbound domestic stock activities: RTS follow-up, FEFO check, stock update, and document filing.  

  • Support outbound domestic sample shipments, including stock transfer, order checking, and picking arrangements. As well as coordinate loose case handling for Head Office and other departments.  

  • Maintain master file updates for storage operations. And run traceability reports for QA/QC upon request.  

 

Qualifications & Preferred Competencies: 

  • Majoring in Supply Chain, International Trade, Logistics, Economics, or related fields. 

  • Passionate about import & export operations, logistics, supply chain management. 

  • Detail-oriented with strong numerical skills; highly organized and proactive. 

  • Excellent problem-solving capabilities with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. 

  • Strong communication skills and transparency in work processes. 

  • Proficiency in English (written and spoken). 

  • Skilled in Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel, for data preparation and analysis. 

  • Experience or knowledge in Power BI is a plus
