JOB SCOPE & CORE DELIVERABLES

A passionate pastry chef who enjoys creating, experimenting, and engaging with people. This role will be a mix of hands-on pastry work and customer-facing activity developing recipes, running product demos, and helping customers understand how to use our products in a practical and technical way.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on pastry professional with a strong understanding of ingredients, techniques, and trends, who can also build relationships, run demos, and influence customer decisions.

RESPONSIBILITIES – WHAT DOES SUCCESS LOOK LIKE?

1. Product Application & Recipe Development

  • Develop new recipes and applications for dairy/bakery products aligned with brand strategy.
  • Customize recipes for key accounts, ensuring technical feasibility, cost efficiency and product consistency.
  • Provide professional feedback to the Marketing/R&D team to support NPD development or product improvement.
  • Ensure all recipe documentation (costing, yield, SOP, product usage guideline) is updated and standardized.

2. Demo, Training & Customer Engagement

  • Conduct product demonstrations, masterclasses, workshops and training sessions for chefs, bakery owners and F&B operators.
  • Provide technical guidance to customers on product handling, formulation, storage and menu optimization.
  • Support Sales Team during customer visits, helping convert sampling → adoption → menu listing.
  • Build strong relationships with chefs, culinary schools, bakery communities and key opinion leaders.

3. Support Sales Development

  • Collaborate with Sales to identify new business opportunities within bakery, café, hotel and restaurant channels.
  • Assist Sales Team in pitching product ideas, menu solutions and troubleshooting technical issues for customers.
  • Provide application-driven solutions that help improve product penetration and support the sales pipeline.
  • Track customer feedback, conversion rate after demo, and performance of menu items using company products.

4. Trade Marketing & Brand Activation

  • Support co-branding activities with key partners (training events, signature menu development, content creation).
  • Participate in brand campaigns, roadshows, chef collaborations and Food Service events.
  • Ensure all demos, training and applications follow brand identity guidelines and deliver consistent brand experience.
  • Assist in preparing product photos, recipe videos, technical content and assets for marketing usage.

5. Reporting, Documentation & System Support

  • Maintain weekly demo reports, customer visit logs, recipe library and application database.
  • Provide technical data for monthly consolidation reports.
  • Track usage of demo materials, equipment and sample products.
  • Support Sales/Marketing team in preparing decks, proposal materials or application toolkits.

6. Budget & Compliance Control

  • Manage and track expenses related to demo ingredients, training materials and event support.
  • Ensure compliance with company safety, hygiene and food handling standards.
  • Follow internal processes for purchasing, PR/PO, payment and claim procedures as required.

 

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • 5+ years’ experience as a pastry chef in professional kitchen/café/hotel/bakery environment.
  • 1–2 years’ experience in a sales-related or customer-facing role is strongly preferred.
  • Baking/pastry certification required, barista knowledge or F&B operation as a plus.
  • Creative, outgoing, trend-driven and detail-oriented.
  • Strong presentation and relationship-building skills.
  • Bilingual in Thai & English.
  • Organizational and multitasking ability in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with social media or digital content creation is a strong advantage
