We are on the lookout for a passionate and results-driven Lower Trade Sales Manager to lead our Lower Trade business across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

What You’ll Do:

Sales & Operations:
    • Lead and develop van operations with a focus on structure, market coverage, drop size, strike rate, and distribution expansion.
    • Set and manage customer annual sales targets and monitor performance across all regions.
    • Achieve agreed sales value targets while controlling trade spend and operational expenses.
    • Develop and execute monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales plans to meet organizational goals.
    • Analyze and forecast sales volumes by SKU, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

Customer & Channel Management:
    • Manage and grow relationships with wholesale and semi-wholesale customers across the Kingdom.
    • Create and implement SKU-specific sales initiatives and drive plans tailored by region and channel.
    • Ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty through efficient service, effective communication, and consistent follow-up.

People Management & Leadership:
    • Supervise and lead the trade sales team; set clear objectives and KPIs.
    • Define and continuously optimize sales team calendars, coverage plans, and sales routes to ensure maximum productivity and customer service.
    • Develop training materials and conduct regular coaching and development sessions for the sales force and in-store teams.
    • Indirectly manage a team of 90 people through the distributor network; maintain strong relationships with distributor top management.

Strategy & Planning:
    • Develop and recommend lower trade sales strategies and execute plans effectively across regions and channels.
    • Support product management through forecasting, pricing strategies, availability planning, and LT KPIs.
    • Ensure timely development and retention of the distribution network in accordance with company standards.
    • Align with trade marketing and category teams to execute brand-building and trade-specific campaigns.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    • Work closely with marketing, finance, logistics, and trade marketing teams to ensure alignment and seamless execution of operations.
    • Monitor market dynamics, shopper behaviors, competition activities, and performance vs. plan.
    • Provide relevant insights, reports, and presentations to management to support decision-making.

Governance & Compliance:
    • Ensure adherence to the company’s accounting, financial, and administrative policies and procedures.
    • Uphold the organization’s ethical standards and ensure all commercial activities are compliant with company guidelines.

What We’re Looking For:

  • 6+ years of FMCG sales experience in KSA (2+ years in a managerial role)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
  • Saudi National
  • Strong knowledge of Saudi market and Lower Trade dynamics
  • Proven distributor management experience
  • Strong analytical, leadership, and strategic planning skills.
  • Solid understanding sales forecasting, route planning, and performance analysis.
  • Fluent in both Arabic and English
