Brand Manager The Laughing Cow Madrid, Spain

And do you know what? We have a great opportunity in Bel Spain for an experienced Brand Manager. An opportunity to work on an emblematic food brand in Spain: The Laughing Cow (La Vaca Que Ríe).

Together with the Senior Brand Manager, to which you will report directly, and a Junior Brand Manager, you will shape the future of our The Laughing Cow brand. On top of having a real impact on the plans, you will be a real leader on both projects, processes, and people.

As Brand Manager of the Laughing Cow, you’ll be working in a high performing team; alongside peers always trying to reach the next level.

Finally, because we care of the development and visibility of people, you will have the opportunity of getting lots of exposure, to internal senior stakeholders, at both local and global levels.

 

You will:

  • Be the leader of a diversity of projects: development of innovations and renovations, portfolio management, etc. From the consumer-need detection until the P&L management and presence in shelves. In collaboration with the other departments of the company: R&D, Sales, Supply, Finances, Local and Global Marketing teams, etc

 

  • Be the leader of disruptive activations / communications: 360º activations focused on product and/or brand; by leading it from brief to final delivery and follow-up; by tackling all the stages of the marketing funnel; by creating media assets and developing the full media plan (strategy, channels, etc); by managing the good collaboration with and between agencies to reach best-in-class activations.

 

  • Be the responsible of the brand’s budget (allocations, follow-up, etc), reports (local and Global) and brand analysis

 

  • Actively take part in brand’s plans: brand vision, strategy, roadmaps…

 

  • Have great visibility and be able to present in different forums, to Senior management, Local and Global teams.

 

  • Be able to develop your people-management skills, by coaching a trainee

 

QUALIFICATIONS

Experience

  • Minimum of 4-5 years in marketing FMCG, ideally in food industry, in Brand/Product management.
  • This experience can be in local or global. Experience in both is a plus.
  • An experience in Sales department or Digital Marketing is also a plus.

 

Skills

  • Good balance between strategical vision, technical and creative skills: marketing is about focusing on the consumers’ needs, analysis and curiosity, vision and magic.

 

  • Result driven: focusing on the results, not only on your owns but also thinking about what is best for the company.

 

  • Project management: for any project (innovation, renovation, activation, etc), you are proactive, autonomous, organized and have always an overview of all the deliverables. On top, time management has no secrets for you. At the end, you know how to bring multiple projects to a successful ending within the given timeframe.
  • Communication skills: At Bel you have the opportunity to be exposed to senior management, both locally and globally. Thus, it’s important you have excellent communication skills to deal with all kinds of different stakeholders.

 

- Confident / Ability to defend ideas and give pushback: you are able to suggest strong ideas and you’re a go getter. You’re not easily thrown off your game.

 

  • Team player: achieving results is nice, but achieving results with the team is simply the best. You’re a team player, meaning you’re sometimes a leader or sometimes follower, but always working towards the same common goal together with your teammates.

  • Fluent in English is mandatory. We have weekly contacts with other countries and our Global headquarters.
