Area Sales Manager, Cairo

Purpose of the Role:

Handles Cairo Region by Leading, supervising, and motivating a team of sales representatives in order to maximize sales revenue and meet or exceed corporate set goals

 

Main Accountabilities: 

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to increase revenue and market penetration.
  • Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance, and prepare regular reports for senior management.
  • Communicate volume forecasts and lead the execution of business plans.
  • Recruit, train, and coach sales team members to enhance their skills, product knowledge, and customer service.
  • Take a proactive leadership role in selling to customers, anticipating needs, and resolving emerging issues.
  • Ensure timely and accurate communication between sales, distribution, and accounting teams.
  • Collaborate with distributor counterparts to develop more efficient systems, including invoicing, data management, and HR processes.
  • Manage all budgets and allocations related to the sales area.
  • Commit to spending at least 70% of time in the field to master all job activities and priorities.
  • Analyze area results and action plans, providing management with progress updates through a monthly report.

Qualifications and experience

  • 5+ years of experience in FMCG Sales.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or relevant degree.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills with a results-driven mindset.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.
