Job Purpose
We are looking for a Brand Manager – La Vache Qui Rit to lead the development of the brand across the NM&E cluster. This role will be responsible for driving sustainable brand growth by building the category, strengthening brand equity and superiority, and supporting innovation while reinforcing the brand’s core fundamentals.
The Brand Manager will play a key role in shaping consumer-centric brand strategies across diverse markets, ensuring that La Vache Qui Rit remains relevant, distinctive, and competitive. This position requires close collaboration with cross-functional and local market teams, as well as regular travel across the cluster to stay close to consumers, customers, and market dynamics.
Main Accountabilities
Brand Strategy & Growth
- Develop and implement the brand strategy for La Vache Qui Rit across the NM&E cluster, aligned with business objectives and brand vision.
- Drive category growth by identifying opportunities to expand penetration, usage occasions, and relevance across markets.
- Build and execute annual brand plans that deliver market share, net sales, and profitability targets.
- Ensure strong deployment of brand fundamentals with excellence and consistency across all touchpoints.
Brand Equity & Superiority
- Strengthen the brand’s equity by defining and activating impactful communication platforms and consumer engagement strategies.
- Elevate the brand’s superiority by identifying and leveraging product, communication, and activation advantages versus competition.
- Safeguard brand identity, positioning, and consistency across all cluster markets.
Consumer & Market Understanding
- Champion a consumer-centric mindset by translating consumer, shopper, and market insights into actionable strategies.
- Maintain a strong pulse on consumer behavior, category trends, competitive activity, and local market dynamics.
- Travel across the cluster to deepen market understanding and ensure strategies are grounded in real consumer needs and opportunities.
Innovation & Renovation
- Support the development and launch of innovations and renovations that are relevant, scalable, and aligned with brand priorities.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure successful go-to-market execution for new product launches.
- Help shape innovation pipelines by identifying unmet consumer needs and whitespace opportunities.
Cross-Functional Leadership
- Work closely with sales, trade marketing, insights, finance, supply chain, and local market teams to ensure strong execution of brand plans.
- Coordinate with regional and global stakeholders to align on strategic priorities, assets, and best practices.
- Monitor business performance and recommend corrective actions where needed.
Performance Management
- Track and analyze brand performance, campaign effectiveness, and innovation results using key KPIs.
- Manage brand budgets responsibly and ensure optimal allocation of resources to maximize return on investment.
- Deliver regular business reviews with clear recommendations for growth.
Qualifications
Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
- 5–8 years of experience in brand management, marketing, or category management, preferably within FMCG.
- Proven experience managing brands across multiple markets or regional scope is highly desirable.
- Experience in dairy, food, or consumer goods categories is a strong advantage.
- Track record in building brands, driving category growth, and supporting innovation launches.
- Strong knowledge of sales fundamentals is crucial.
- Previous work experience in GCC is a plus.

Other Requirements

- Fluency in English is required; Arabic and/or French would be a plus.
