Purpose of the role:
The E-commerce Sales Manager is responsible for leading and enhancing the company's online sales and digital marketing strategies of the company. This role involves managing the e-commerce platform, optimizing the user experience, driving online sales, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Main Accountabilities:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, IT, customer service, and logistics, to align e-commerce activities with overall business goals.
- Develop and implement comprehensive e-commerce strategies to drive online sales and achieve revenue targets.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Monitor and analyze the performance of digital marketing initiatives, adjusting strategies as needed to maximize ROI.
- Manage the online product catalog, including product listings, descriptions, pricing, and promotions.
- Work with the inventory and logistics teams to ensure product availability and timely fulfillment of orders.
- Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by addressing customer inquiries, resolving issues, and improving the overall online shopping experience.
- Ensure the implementation of customer feedback mechanisms to gather insights and make data-driven improvements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, E-commerce, marketing or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in sales FMCGs.
- Proven experience in E-commerce management, website analytics, and digital marketing tools.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
