Sales Planner
Purpose of the role:
The Sales Planner is responsible for implementing and developing sales strategies to achieve organization’s objectives, this role plays a crucial part in reporting and providing the information to the concerned stakeholders, forecasting sales volume depending on analyzing the market dynamics, coordinates with various departments to ensure the right execution of sales process.
Main Accountabilities:
- Support in the sales and operation planning (S&OP) cycle by collaborating with the supply chain and trade marketing teams on a monthly basis.
- Reviewing the baseline every quarter through working on cleansing process then injecting the trade activities in collaboration with trade marketing and sales team to identify unutilized opportunities.
- Lead cascading the monthly target cycle across all channels and regions.
- Responsible for reporting cycle as follows:
- Initiation: creation of new reports in line with the business needs.
- Management: full control of the reporting cycle insuring reports is delivered in full and on time.
- Enhancement: continues improvement in the reporting tools / cycle leading to higher efficiency and optimization
- Manage the monthly commission for the sales team.
- Monitor the market trends and competitions dynamics through getting insights from trade stocks in the market and data sharing readings.
- Lead a team of sales analysts handling the sales operation tasks across the regions.
- Tracking the weighted contractual customers in terms of achievements and rebates through GA sheets supporting trade marketing team in the budget management.
- Participation and presenting in the monthly meeting sales business planning (SBP).
- Responsible for nearly expiry optimization.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in business administration or equivalent.
2-3 years of relevant experience preferred preferably in FMCG.
Proficiency in sales planning and reporting.
Database management.
Advanced in Excel & Microsoft Power BI.
