Senior Financial Analyst – FP&A
Job Purpose:
The Senior FP&A Analyst is responsible for leading financial planning and analysis efforts to enhance business success through robust forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning.
Main Accountabilities:
- Lead the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasts and budgets.
- Analyze variances between actuals, forecasts, and budgets; provide explanations and recommendations.
- Develop financial models to support business initiatives, investment decisions, and strategic planning.
- Prepare management reporting packages and present key findings to senior leadership.
- Support long-term financial planning and scenario analysis.
- Identify process improvements and contribute to the development of tools and dashboards for enhanced reporting.
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity of financial data and reporting.
- Support ad hoc analysis and projects as requested by leadership.
- Conduct deep-dive profitability analysis by product, region, or customer segment.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and develop dashboards to track business trends.
Education, Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or equivalent.
- 3-5 years of experience.
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI)
- Strong financial modeling and analytical skills.
- Advanced Excel skills; experience with financial systems (SAP, Oracle).
- Solid understanding of financial statements and key business metrics.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage deadlines.
- High attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Proven track record of driving process improvements and implementing efficiencies.
