Job Description: 

Jop Purpose: 

To lead and oversee all export and import operations, ensuring efficient logistics, regulatory compliance, accurate documentation, and optimal cost management for inbound and outbound shipments.

Main Accountabilities: 

  •  Generated ACIDs and digitally signed shipping documents via NAFEZA.
  •  Reviewed import documentation for compliance.
  •  Prepared export documentation for importers.
  •  Coordinated import/export of samples via courier services.
  •  Arranged dispatch of original documents to customs brokers.
  •  Liaised with clearing agents for timely clearance.
  •  Maintained audit-ready documentation.
  •  Reviewed LC drafts and amendments.
  • Collects and validates export shipping cost data; ensures accurate SAP postings.
  • Supports budget reviews with cost breakdowns and identifies discrepancies.
  • Schedules and coordinates outbound shipments; aligns with order fulfillment teams.
  • Communicates with plant, warehouse, carriers, and forwarders for smooth logistics.
  • Arranges export sales orders, monitors shipments, and ensures proper documentation and timely customs clearance.
  • Prepares and submits documents for certifications and compliance; manages records for audits.
  • Tracks export performance metrics and KPIs; manages transportation-related quality issues and claims.
  • Prepares documents for export subsidies and claims; follows up with authorities on refunds and guarantees.
  • Coordinates with freight forwarders and carriers; manages schedules and reports performance issues.
  • Monitors export inventory and proactively prevents storage or capacity bottlenecks.Initiates and follows up on insurance or destruction claims for damages.
  • Maintains and updates shipment master data in SAP; communicates with departments regarding data changes.

 

Education, Experience and Qualifications:

  •  Bachelor degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  •  +3 years of experience in the logistics import and export operations.
  •  Excellent command of English language
  •  Customer Service oriented.
  •  Very good computer skills (MS office, SAP).
