Job Description Summary 

The Director of Sales - Costco/BJ’s will lead the growth of the GoGo squeeZ business by developing and implementing strategic sales plans to drive profitable results within these key accounts. This role requires a seasoned sales professional with a proven ability to collaborate across functions, achieve key performance indicators (KPIs), and build strong, strategic retail partnerships. Additionally, the position involves creating and articulating a clear strategic vision for Costco and BJ’s while ensuring alignment and seamless execution across the organization and sales team. This position is fully remote and the ideal candidate can be located anywhere in the United States.

 Essential Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Sales Strategy: Develop and execute retailer-specific sales strategies to achieve revenue targets, grow market share, and align with the company’s long-term vision. 

  • Leadership: Lead, mentor, and motivate the team to achieve peak performance with a strong focus on professional development. 

  • Retailer Partnerships & Growth: Build and enhance strategic relationships with Costco and BJ’s to foster mutually profitable business growth. 

  • Market Insights & Category Influence: Analyze market trends, including share, POS data, and consumer insights, to identify opportunities and address risks. Use insights to elevate category performance within Costco and BJ’s. 

  • Sales Planning, Forecasting & Trade Management: Ensure excellence in sales planning, trade management, and execution through a strong understanding of business fundamentals. 

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with teams in sales strategy, marketing, finance, and supply chain to align goals, prioritize retailer needs, and deliver on shared objectives. 

  • Budget Management: Meet top-line and bottom-line sales objectives by using financial expertise to optimize pricing and promotional strategies, ensuring profitable growth for the Costco/BJ’s business. 

 

Skills and Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field. MBA preferred. 

  • Minimum of 7 years of sales experience including directly managing Costco/BJ’s, internal Sales Strategy/Customer Marketing role, people leadership experience 

  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and leading a successful sales team. 

  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. 

  • Strategic thinking with the ability to execute and deliver results. 

  • Familiarity with market analysis, sales forecasting, and budget management. 

  • Strong understanding of grocery retail environment and retailer strategies 

  • Successful at building strategic retailer relationships  

  • Operates with a high level of integrity and models excellence 

  • Proven analytical skills and strong attention to detail 

  • Utilizes exceptional presentation skills 

  • Has an entrepreneurial spirit and exhibits a high level of enthusiasm for the business and its growth 

  • Is a self-starter who can thrive without extensive supervision 

  • Are a strong communicator – written and verbally – and build relationships quickly and easily. 

Working Conditions 

Work is performed largely in a field environment and #LI-Remote. Hours of work will generally be during regular business hours with at least 40 hours a week. At times there will be some variation in work hours due to special projects, deadlines and other concerns. Up to 50% business travel may be required.

Total Rewards 

  • Base Salary: $185,000 - $200,000 

  • Bonus Opportunity: 25% 

  • 20 days PTO 

  • 4% match on 401k
