Main Responsibilities

 

1. Procurement Performance Management

  • Monitor the performance of the preformed pots category: budget, variances, and contractual coverage.
  • Develop and implement productivity plans.
  • Analyze spending distribution and manage indicators at Group level.

 

2. Procurement Strategy

  • Define and deploy the procurement strategy for the preformed pots category.
  • Transform the global strategy into actionable plans and operational projects.
  • Integrate quality, cost, delivery, and CSR criteria into all decisions.
  • Identify future needs in line with market trends, packaging innovations, regulatory changes, and industrial plans.

 

3. Supplier Panel Management

  • Build and manage a structured and efficient supplier panel.
  • Supervise performance reviews and supplier relationships.
  • Implement improvement plans when necessary.

 

4. Mold Management

  • Manage mold availability or ownership contracts.
  • Oversee the procurement of new molds for new projects.
  • Ensure the follow-up of preventive mold maintenance, in collaboration with suppliers and technical teams.
  • Maintain an updated inventory: location, condition, lifespan, and history, in collaboration with suppliers and technical teams.

 

5. Negotiation and Contracting

  • Negotiate supplier contracts to secure the best terms (cost, quality, delivery).
  • Manage tenders in collaboration with internal clients.
  • Share recommendations and decisions with stakeholders.

 

6. Dispute Management and Compliance

  • Proactively resolve disputes between plants and suppliers.
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards and regulations.

 

 

Required Knowledge and Skills

Education and Professional Experience

  • Master’s degree (Bac+5) in business, procurement management, or engineering with a specialization in procurement, or equivalent.
  • At least 2 years of experience in procurement, ideally in an industrial environment.
  • Knowledge of plastic materials, molding processes, and mold lifecycles (injection molding, thermoforming, IML).
  • Project management skills.

 

Technical and Professional Skills

  • Strong data analysis capabilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Committed, rigorous, and organized.
  • Proactive and solution-oriented.

 

Specific Skills (Languages, Software, etc.)

  • Fluent in English and French.
  • Proficiency in SAP and Excel.
  • Knowledge of Power BI is a plus.
