LOCATION AND STARTING DATE
Permanent position, to start as soon as possible
The position is based in Suresnes or at one of our industrial sites within the Engineering and Development team.
Frequent travel: 50% of the time across our industrial sites
The cleaning expertise manager is the guardian of the Cleaning Good Manufacturing Practices (“CGMP”) for the group. He/She are accountable to build and execute the roadmap of POCs to improve Bel’s cleaning and sanitization know-how and capability, resulting in increased operational efficiency. He/She will plan and follow up on CGMP factory audits and support factory staff to ensure full compliance. He/She is also the privileged relay on cleaning topics to the product and pack developments teams and to the CapEx project teams. He/She is involved in global procurement of cleaning products, as well as CSR initiatives.
MAIN MISSIONS
The multi-year roadmap of cleaning & sanitizing projects:
- align with the stakeholders to define the cleaning projects that contribute to the business needs and to the operations strategy
- prioritise the projects and allocate the needed resources
- organise with the plant technologist the factory activities (e.g. trials) when applicable
- own the KPI related to the cleaning projects and to the roadmap
- ensure regular reporting on the progress and achievements
- contribute to the group CSR objectives, such as the reduction in water usage
Ensure up-to-date standards on cleaning & sanitizing (CGMP) for all technologies in the group (Cheese, Squeeze and Plant Based) and in adequation with packaging requirements:
- identify missing or incomplete standards
- apply thoroughly the TGMP process implementation which includes but is not limited to:
- drafting the F&T requirements, the operations instructions, the control plans and the audit assessment grids
- plan and conduct factory audits
- train the concerned people with the appropriate training material
- report on factories compliance KPI by using and improving the related IT Tools (Pytheos, PowerBi, Fabriq,etc)
Support the continuous improvement on cleaning best practices:
- Provide technical assistance to factories
- Ensure proper implementation of CIP/COP in Capex projects with respect to group standards
- Optimise the procurement on chemicals (on volumes and costs, with high level of safety and operational efficiency)
- Participate to crises committees or special task forces as an expert on cleaning
Governance
- lead a network with the plant technologists and other factory staff, the expertise team, and more globally with the bel community involved in the cleaning practices (RID, E2E, etc.)
- Conduct annual seminars with this community
- Lead regular meetings to share technology best practices
- Onboard new members of this community
- Provide training and tools on cleaning good practices.
Technology Watch
- Keep abreast of new innovations in the field of cleaning & sanitization
- Manage the technological watch on external improvements in the field
- Develop an external network
PROFILE
Diploma and/or level of professional experience required:
- Degree in Food Technology, Process or Packaging Engineering with at least 5-10 years of experience in production and/or development
- Management experience appreciated
- Exposure to a Quality role appreciated
Required Skills :
- Project Management skills as a must
- Good verbal and written communication skills: presentations to an international group of people.
- Ability to organize, interact and challenge production.
- Fluent in English
- Knowledge of production processes, yield, manufacturing costs.
