About the Role 

 

As part of the Group Legal Department, you will act as a strategic catalyst to structure, secure and negotiate IT partnerships, protecting data and helping scale AI initiatives. You will also contribute to the digitalization of the Legal function by co‑designing and deploying practical Legal Ops projects that improve contract speed and overall service delivery. 

 

Although IT contracting is the core of the role, we are also looking for someone who is comfortable with broader commercial contracts (purchasing, services, marketing, partnerships) to support cross‑functional business needs. 

 

 

Key Responsibilities 

 

Legal Advisory & Contract Management (IT/Tech) 

 

  • Provide legal advice, draft and negotiate complex IT agreements (outsourcing, integration, SaaS, maintenance, IT CAPEX, etc.). 

  • Structure and secure contractual frameworks for digital and innovation projects (IT/AI), aligned with business goals and internal standards. 

  • Develop and update contract templates and promote tools and best practices to accelerate negotiations. 

  • Support, when needed, the negotiation and drafting of broader commercial contracts (services, procurement, partnerships) with the same rigor and speed‑to‑contract mindset. 

 

AI Governance & Risk Management  

 

  • Scope AI projects, assess legal risks (GDPR, IP, ethics) and ensure compliance with the AI Act/RIA and national rules. 

  • Contribute to AI governance through internal policies, standardization and evaluation processes, promote responsible AI practices. 

  • Monitor legal and regulatory developments (AI Act/RIA, GDPR, international standards) and recommend necessary adjustments. 

 

Knowledge, Training & Legal Ops 

 

  • Create clear learning materials (guides, FAQs, trainings) to help teams understand IT/AI/data legal topics. 

  • Contribute to the industrialisation of Legal (templates, workflows, automation) to speed up delivery and secure execution. 

  • Share reusable contracting playbooks and negotiation tips for both IT and non‑IT matters. 

 

Data Protection & Compliance Enablement 

 

  • Review and draft DPAs and data‑related clauses, keeping documentation up to date. 

  • Support the Compliance Officer on personal data matters and in the deployment of Group policies and methodologies. 

  • Train and raise awareness on data protection and compliance best practices. 

 

Your Profile 

 

Education & Experience 

 

  • Master’s degree (Bac+5) in Law, ideally with a Master’s in Technology Law / IT Law.  

  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience (preferably in house) in technology law, IT contracting, data privacy, and complex digital environments.  

  • Strong contractual appetite and solid expertise in contract negotiation and drafting, not only in the field of new technologies but also across broader areas of commercial and business contracting.

  • IT Agreements: Ability to independently handle complex IT contracts and deliver clear, actionable recommendations supporting business decisions. 

  • Data protection and AI: Strong grounding in GDPR/data rules and AI‑related risks (ethics, IP, compliance), including evolving AI Regulation. 

  • Commercial agreements: Experience negotiating broader commercial agreements (services, procurement, partnerships). 

  • Process development and Digital tools: Experience in improving and digitalizing legal processes (CLM, workflows), with proven change‑management skills. 

  • Leadership and Communication: Track record in improving and digitalizing legal processes (CLM, workflows), with proven change‑management skills. 

  • Proactivity and Initiative: Highly structured, anticipative and solution‑driven, removing obstacles and driving transformation in an international setting. 

  • Innovation Mindset: Strong interest in digital innovation, emerging tech and evolving legal frameworks. 

 

Languages 

 

  • Fluency in French and English (written and spoken) is essential.
