We are currently seeking a passionate and skilled Global Operations FP&A Director, a pivotal leadership role responsible for piloting the financial performance of the Group's Operations. You will support strategic decision-making and ensure operational excellence through in-depth financial insights. You will also lead collaborative engagements with relevant teams across finance, operations, and leadership. Come and join us to make a difference!

 

Job Scope : €2+ billion COGS, €300m inventory, €200m CapEx, and associated CSR extra-financial elements. 22 plants accross the world. This position reports directly to the Group Operations Finance Director and is based at Group Headquarters in Suresnes, France.

 

Key responsabilities, along with his/her direct team :

 

Business Financial Piloting for the Executive Committee (Comex)

 

  • Over all phases of the company’s financial planning (monthly results, budget, estimates, risks and opportunities, strategic plan) : synthesize figures and financial narratives to offer clear decision-making insights for the Comex, utilizing in particular regional inputs while focusing on key arbitration elements.
  • Provide direct support to the Supply Chain leadership on their financial performance (costs and inventories).

 

FP&A processes

 

  • Organize and coordinate the activity of all stakeholders involved in the FP&A processes : financial guidance, instructions, systems readiness, data consolidation, presentation templates, alignment meetings, etc … Take accountability for efficient collective execution of the processes.

 

Systems Management

 

  • Owning, maintaining, and improving the financial systems used by Operations Controlling (SAP, BPC, etc …).

 

Strategic projects and Continuous Improvement initiatives

 

  • In a context of ambitious company developments : lead or contribute to multidisciplinary projects centered on business (including CSR), finance, and systems.

 

Team Leadership and Management

 

  • As part of the Operations Controlling Leadership Committee, the Global Operations FP&A Director actively participates with the other members of this committee to the managerial oversight of the central team (20 people) and the local network of Operations Finance Controllers (40 people).
  • He/She leads and develops a direct team of 5 professionals focused on FP&A, Systems and Supply Chain Controlling.

 

 

Profile :

 

To excel in this role, we are looking for a leader who combines a strong financial expertise with very good operational acumen. Our ideal candidate is results-driven and ready to collaborate within a dynamic, fast-paced organization.

 

  • Minimum 10 years of experience, with solid track record in business controlling (P&L oversight), including some experience in industrial financial performance management.
  • Ability to convey a global vision based on reporting data, while also dive into the details of individual issues.
  • Expertise in formalizing and presenting results effectively to senior management with impact.
  • Strong experience and affinity for organizing and leveraging financial systems (e.g. EPM type systems) in advanced management settings.
  • Strong collaborative skills to influence stakeholders across financial and operational areas, in a matrix corporate structure.
  • An inspiring and empowering manager, passionate about developing teams.
  • A combination of boldness, professionalism, and strategic thinking that leaves a lasting impact.
  • Education : Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
