LOCATION AND DATES
Suresnes (92). Fixed-term contract, 6 months starting from July 2026
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Within the Procurement Department, you will report to the Purchasing Manager for the Paper & Board categories (solid and corrugated). Your main responsibilities will include:
- Defining the procurement strategy for the Solid Board category: analyzing needs, costs, and markets, proposing specification improvements, across a scope of 15 production sites.
- Managing, leading, and developing the supplier panel in line with procurement strategy.
- Monitoring supplier performance: business reviews, evaluations, and improvement plans.
- Participating in supplier audits and visits.
- Assisting in resolving supplier disputes (qualitative, quantitative, returns, credit requests).
- Preparing the budget for the Group, ensuring coordination between countries, monitoring results monthly, and proposing action plans to reduce variances.
- Contributing to the Group’s CSR commitments by leading projects in your purchasing category.
- Ensuring procurement performance: monitoring market indexes, tenders, negotiations, productivity projects, contracting.
- Performing risk analyses, implementing necessary mitigation and contingency plans, leading securing or continuity projects, and securing supplies with factories.
- Being a driving force for cost reductions: volume pooling, simplification, specification and supply chain optimization.
- Actively participating in innovation projects with stakeholders (marketing, factories, R&D, sales), promoting innovation and value analysis.
- Representing Packaging Procurement at decision-making bodies (development committees, steering committees).
- Conducting regular market intelligence and working with suppliers on regulatory, technical, sourcing, and market developments in order to adapt strategy and prioritize or launch new projects.
PROFILE:
- Higher education Bac+5, Packaging Engineer (such as ESIEC, ESI Reims, ESEPAC…) or General Engineering (IAA), or Master’s degree with Procurement specialization.
- Minimum 5 years’ successful experience in packaging procurement, ideally in the board sector.
- Strong analytical skills and project management expertise; ability to engage teams and demonstrate recognized leadership.
- Commitment, rigor, pragmatism, and excellent interpersonal skills.
- Proficient with ERP systems (ideally SAP) and Microsoft Office suite.
- Fluent English required.
