YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
We are looking for a Public Affairs Officer for a 6-month fixed-term contract to strengthen our department, starting January.
You will join a team combining corporate communications and public affairs expertise, playing a key role in supporting our strategic priorities.
Within our department, you will explore a rich and varied ecosystem, working with:
- Internal stakeholders (cross-functional Group teams)
- Key external stakeholders, such as public authorities and European and international institutions
This central position will provide you with a unique strategic perspective in the agri-food sector. More specifically, your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting monitoring assignments (media, institutional, crisis) on strategic topics for the Group
- Co-developing positioning, key messages, and language elements
- Participating in relationships with key stakeholders (internal and external) and managing projects (follow-up, meetings, reporting)
- Contributing to the development of strategic recommendations and action plans (research, brainstorming, idea generation)
- Supporting and implementing concrete public affairs actions (drafting position papers, stakeholder mappings, organizing institutional meetings or events)
PROFILE
- Passionate about current events, you read political, economic, and societal news daily and can produce rapid, clear analyses
- Comfortable in complex environments, you know how to delve into substantial topics
- Autonomous, while fully appreciating teamwork, you enjoy learning and sharing your knowledge
- Committed and rigorous, you excel through your analytical thinking and writing skills
- Proficiency in English (fluent spoken and written) to interact with our international partners, and proficiency in French
- Curious and motivated, you are ready to take on new challenges in a constantly evolving industry
- Knowledge of European public affairs and of the agri-food sector is a valued asset
- Previous professional experience in public affairs, communications, or within an institutional environment would be a plus
- You have 2 to 3 years of successful experience in the public affairs sector.
