MAIN RESPONSABILITIES

 

Reporting to the Global Brand Platform Manager, he/she is responsible for coordinating packaging and portfolio projects with the global brand teams for international markets.

 

Your main responsibilities (70%) is Packaging Project Management :

 

Packaging Execution and Technical Advice on Global Packaging Developments:

    • Collect the necessary information for packaging projects
    • Assist product managers in drafting and conducting briefing and debriefing sessions with the packaging agency on packaging and design requirements, as well as planning the delivery of masters.
    • Lead the briefing of execution agencies (freelancers or others), photogravers, etc., ensure the follow-up of graphic development, and validate the graphic documents from the agencies with the Brand Manager.
    • Build the development schedule for packaging execution, taking into account the constraints of the packaging supplier and aligning with the graphic chain and/or purchasing
    • Verify and validate all materials intended for printing, ensure the proper application of graphic guidelines, and be responsible for the coordination and validation of all packaging materials from a regulatory, CSR, and marketing perspective.

 

Coordination and Leadership of Global Packaging Projects / Local Support:

    • Global Pack Projects : Communicate all necessary information about packaging projects to all relevant stakeholders (graphic chain, Global Activity Manager, local Marketing, etc.) and monitor/ ensure local implementation by connecting with local teams
    • Local support: Provide technical support and interface on packaging and design for locally initiated projects and local adaptations of global projects to ensure consistency upon request.
    • Support the Equity team in updating packaging guidelines, fix and flex for local adaptations, and support best practices.
    • Ensure constant connection with the graphic chain and Global Activity Managers.
    • Participate in the construction of Action Plans (timing/packaging) in coordination with Global Activity Managers.
    • Lead specific projects (on existing products) such as: optimizing existing packaging (e.g., number of colors), changing the BOP ingredient list, testing a new printing process

 

Support for the Global Marketing Team on the Portfolio:

    • Contribute to the development and updating of the portfolio/brand book on global packs by collecting and consolidating all information.

 

The second main responsabilities is Brand Portfolio development (30%)

    • Support to Senior Brand Manager on data analytics & trend watch summary
    • Adhoc trend watch on innovation and renovation projects to fuel brief
    • Prepare workshop and contribute to innovation and renovation selling story building and other decks
    • Lead simple innovation and renovation projects
    • Support the team during the improve phase especially on performance tracking 

 

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

 

  • You have a first experience in FMCG, ideally into pack project management &/or marketing.
  • Genuine interest in the Food industry, brands, and innovation. Experience in a matrix/international environment preferred.
  • Curious and agile, capable of managing different projects across multiple brands.
  • Rigorous, well organized, proactive, and detailed oriented
  • Good interpersonal skills, proactive and adaptability in a multicultural and uncertain environment
  • English (fluent)
