The Group Supply Controlling Manager drives the financial performance of the Group Supply Chain scope by supporting and challenging strategic partners. Acting as a business partner to the Group Supply Chain management team, the role plays a pivotal part in steering decision-making and ensuring operational excellence.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Group Supply Chain Financial Performance Management (€150M+ annual costs, and €300M in inventory):

  • Responsible for monthly tracking of Group Supply Chain performance: transportation costs, warehousing, customs duties, logistics penalties, DDD, SPOT impacts, and monitoring productivity projects
  • Interacts with all Business Units (global scope) regarding cost and inventory analysis and ensures deployment of Group management standards
  • Leads, together with Supply Chain platform directors, central S&OP teams, and central procurement teams, the management of Group inventory levels during cash committees, ensuring coherent action plans to achieve set objectives

 

Budget / Landing Processes within Supply Chain Scope:

 

  • Leads Budget/Landing processes in support of Group Supply Chain Directors, and the Finance / Controlling Directors of the Business Units: assumption building (inflation, productivity), process setting, alignment with markets/countries
  • Coordinates the analysis and communication of export costs and deployment, working closely with central procurement and physical distribution teams
  • Ensures coherence of S&OP volumes (sales/production volumes) as a basis for cost and inventory budgeting/forecasting, in cooperation with central Supply Planning teams

 

Transformation / Ad-hoc Projects:

 

  • Proposes and leads impactful simplification/digitalization projects for the Group’s supply financial processes: BI projects, SAP processes, in connection with IT and BPO teams
  • Strong contributor to establishing an End-to-End view of the Group Supply Chain, especially for inventory forecasts (MRP digitalization, in partnership with industrial platforms, supply chain, and Group procurement teams)
  • Provides financial support for supply transformation projects

 

Qualifications / Skills:

 

Required Education and Experience:

  • Master’s degree (Bac+5) with experience in Controlling or Finance
  • 7 to 10 years of professional experience, including operational experience (in a BU and/or factory setting)
  • Strong business orientation
  • High affinity for information systems
  • Proven ability in transversal management and working autonomously

 

Specific Skills (Languages, Software, Technical know-how):

 

  • Fluent English and ability to work in multicultural environments
  • Strong leadership skills, strong drive for results, and capacity to influence without direct authority
  • Ability to influence, lead, and unite an international community (country Supply Chain and Finance teams)
  • Advanced Excel skills. Knowledge of Power BI is a plus.
  • Knowledge of SAP (transport module, FI module) and the BPC-EPM system; proficiency in these systems is an advantage
