Material Planner

The Material Planner, working within the Supply Chain Department and reporting to the Material Planning Manager, manages the supply of raw materials (cheeses, fats and powders) and packaging (aluminum and tircel) for plants in the MEGA zone.

Regular activities

•Ensure the availability of raw materials and packaging related to its scope within the deadlines and quantities in relation to the production needs planned in the production plans.
•Suggest any improvements needed to optimize the value of MP and PM (cash) inventory.
•Guarantee stock levels of raw materials and packaging related to its scope
•Analyze variations in requirements and communicate alerts and risks (shortage/overstock)
•Communicate monthly raw materials and packaging requirements related to its scope (central purchasing and suppliers).
•Maintain confidentiality regarding supplier prices
•Reporting: Implementation, follow-up, updating, communication of KPIs (Stock coverage, Root Cause Analysis, Missing parts analysis (out of stock)).
•Lead continuous improvement projects within the Materials Planning team.
•Ensure overall consistency and implementation of tools and processes
•Leading workshops for the Procurement community
 

Required diploma and/or level of professional experience: 

•To 2 or 3 years of higher education in industrial engineering from an engineering school (EMI, EHTP, ENIM, etc.)
•1 to 2 years experience

Required skills business / technical knowhow to perform in the job : 

•You are familiar with the concepts of planning / supply management / inventory management / risk management
•You have a sense of initiative, are solution-oriented and a good communicator.

Required specific skills (foreign languages, software, …)

•You are fluent in English, French and Arabic, both orally and in writing.
•You have a good command of office automation tools (Excel and VB)
