Production Sanitation Agent Night Shift-$61,500/Year

The Sanitation Agent is responsible for ensuring al equipment and parts are clean and sanitized for next production shift.  The Sanitation Agent is also responsible for monitoring day to day pre-operational swabbing for microbiology.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Remove Molder tubes to clean out cheese, replace tubes for CIP and pull tubes back out after CIP and soak.
  • Clean and sanitize floors, walls, presses, delidder machine and belts as assigned.
  • Clean and sanitize tables, chairs, stools, bowls and pans. Clean the de-molding machine, tumblers, table, conveyors and floors in the brining room. Clean and sanitize floors, walls, and conveyors from demolder to back side of washer
  • Disassemble, clean and sanitize wax machine and reassemble for production.
  • Drain and clean out tray separator and fill it back up.
  • Clean and stock air locks rooms.
  • Clean foot foamers and check concentrations.
  • Assist with melting wax
  • Operate floor scrubber
  • Help change out lids and cups.
  • Clean netting machine belts, conveyors, lines, and turn tables.
  • Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices as stated within the policy.
  • Follows all Safety Rules and procedures by working safely and ensuring safety of others.
  • Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications and Competencies

Minimum education and experience required:

  • Requires equivalent of a High School Diploma.
  • Ability to understand oral and written instructions relating to the operation.
  • Ability to function as a team member and contribute to group goals.
  • Ability to operate a variety of equipment such as simple hand tools and hand-powered hydraulic material handling devices.

Specific vision requirements of this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

 

Work Environment: The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.

 

The employee frequently works near moving mechanical parts and in wet, humid conditions, and in proximity to cleaning chemicals, fumes, and air-born particles.  The employee is occasionally exposed to cleaning chemicals, and sources of vibration.

 

The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.

 

Protective Equipment:

Employees must wear personal protective equipment as required which could include a hair and beard net, rubber boots, and ear protection.
