JOB SCOPE & CORE DELIVERABLES

 

Key finance partner supporting Financial Planning & Analysis activities for Vietnam, including budgeting, rolling forecast, monthly performance review, variance analysis, and management reporting across P&L, operating cost, logistics cost and commercial investments. The role acts as a key support to the Financial Controller in driving business planning, financial analysis, first-level control of annual reporting, and timely insights for decision-making.

 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES – WHAT DOES SUCCESS LOOK LIKE?

1/ Essential business activities expected from this position:

 

Execution

  • Coordinate with budget owners of Back-end operating cost to ensure expenditures, commitments, accruals and forecast assumptions are captured accurately and on time in the system.
  • Provide FP&A support to budget owners through budget tracking, forecast preparation and financial guidance to improve spending discipline and business decisions.
  • Support monthly closing activities including accrual review, posting instructions, P&L analysis, gap explanation and validation of spending accuracy.
  • Review financial terms and budget impact of contracts related to operating cost, logistics cost to ensure proper financial assessment before commitment.
  • Support transfer pricing process management by coordinating recharge data, cost allocation assumptions, intercompany true-up analysis, and financial impact assessment for Vietnam P&L.
  • Coordinate the transfer pricing and cross-charge process, including shared service cost review, allocation, recharge calculation, supporting documents and alignment with Group Finance and local accounting/tax requirements.
  • Functionally oversee Bel Key internal control activities and ensure proper follow-up of key control processes.

 

Management

  • Deliver monthly FP&A reports covering P&L performance, fixed cost, COGS, logistics cost and key business drivers, with deep analysis of volume, price, mix, efficiency and one-off impacts.
  • Own the monthly MPR deck preparation for management review, consolidating inputs from cross-functional teams and translating financial performance into clear insights, key messages, risks, opportunities, and action plans.
  • Lead coordination with departments for budget, landing estimate and monthly rolling forecast, ensuring assumptions are clearly documented, challenged and aligned with business priorities.
  • Prepare ad-hoc financial analysis requested by management or Group, translating data into clear insights, risks, opportunities and recommended actions.
  • Monitor transfer pricing impacts in actuals, budget and forecast, ensuring intercompany charges, shared service fees and true-up adjustments are properly reflected and explained in management reporting.
  • Design and improve reporting tools, templates and control processes to enhance data accuracy, forecast reliability and management reporting efficiency.
  • Lead Power App automation projects to streamline finance processes and support better workflow control.

  • Business assumptions may change frequently during budget, forecast and monthly performance review cycles, requiring quick analysis, scenario updates and clear communication of financial impact.
  • Influence peers and cross-functional colleagues without direct authority to ensure timely budget follow-up, reliable forecast inputs and ownership of corrective actions.
  • Work with Group Finance on transfer pricing, intercompany recharge and cross-charge topics, where allocation assumptions, timing of true-up adjustments, supporting documentation and local accounting/tax requirements may create complexity. The role is expected to challenge assumptions, assess Vietnam P&L impact, coordinate with local Accounting/Tax teams, and ensure timely explanation to management during closing, budget and forecast cycles

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

 

  1. Requirements
  • Graduated from University – specialized in Finance & Accounting
  • At least 4 years of experience in Finance, FP&A or Business Analysis is a must, ideally from an FMCG background. Experience in budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, P&L analysis and Commercial finance experience is preferred.

  • Hands-on SAP experience is required
  • Strong Excel and financial modelling skills are required.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate financial data into business insights and actionable recommendations.
  • English: fluent in speaking & writing.
  • Good communication skills, with the ability to clarify assumptions, challenge inputs and explain financial impact to non-finance partners.
