MAIN MISSIONS
We are recruiting, within the Group Procurement Department, a Group Transport & Logistics Buyer (M/F/X).
Reporting to the Group Transport & Logistics Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for categories such as Sea and Air Transport (Group scope), road transport, or logistics. The categories will be defined according to your background and experience.
Your main duties:
- Propose and implement purchasing and decarbonization strategies for the Group's value chain at Local and/or Global levels
- Define purchasing strategies and roadmaps by category and communicate them internally
- Activate the internal stakeholders’ community through regular meetings and broad communications
- Coordinate purchasing actions for your categories together with procurement contacts in various countries
- Challenge existing practices and carry out internal and external benchmarks
- Manage tenders in your category
- Support internal stakeholders in specifying needs, challenge current practices, and conduct internal and external benchmarks
- Manage end-to-end tenders in collaboration with Supply Chain teams (drafting RFPs, offer analysis and negotiation strategies, contracting)
- Monitor purchasing performance in your categories at Group level (index changes, savings reporting, etc.)
- Manage the supplier panel
- Monitor and manage supplier performance through business reviews, evaluations, and KPIs implementation
- Negotiate and formalize contracts in collaboration with the Group Legal Department
- Be an actor in the Group’s CSR and carbon footprint commitments
- Map spend, suppliers, and contracts
- Market intelligence
- Anticipate future needs by integrating market trends and innovations
- Know and monitor supplier markets (prospection, intelligence) for the relevant categories
PROFILE
- Master's degree (Bac+5) in engineering, transport & logistics, or equivalent professional experience supplemented by a specialized training in purchasing or commercial management
- At least 5 years’ previous experience as a logistics buyer at Group level
- Good knowledge of the agri-food industry, in particular fresh products transportation and related logistic flows
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills
- Very good command of English
- Proficient in IT tools (MS Office, SAP, e-sourcing)
