Purpose of the Role:
Handles Canal Region by Leading, supervising, and motivating a team of sales representatives in order to maximize sales revenue and meet or exceed corporate set goals.
Candidates must be based in and currently residing in the Canal region to be considered for this role.
Main Accountabilities:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to increase revenue and market penetration.
- Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance, and prepare regular reports for senior management.
- Communicate volume forecasts and lead the execution of business plans.
- Recruit, train, and coach sales team members to enhance their skills, product knowledge, and customer service.
- Take a proactive leadership role in selling to customers, anticipating needs, and resolving emerging issues.
- Ensure timely and accurate communication between sales, distribution, and accounting teams.
- Collaborate with distributor counterparts to develop more efficient systems, including invoicing, data management, and HR processes.
- Manage all budgets and allocations related to the sales area.
- Commit to spending at least 70% of time in the field to master all job activities and priorities.
- Analyze area results and action plans, providing management with progress updates through a monthly report.
Qualifications and experience
- 5+ years of experience in FMCG Sales.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or relevant degree.
- Strong leadership and team management skills with a results-driven mindset.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.
