CONTEXT – ABOUT KIRI

KIRI is widely known for its iconic square cheese portion that brings moments of enjoyment to children, families, and adults. However, depending on the region, its consumers, usage occasions, and product portfolio vary significantly.

As part of the Global KIRI Brand Team, you will help define KIRI’s 5-year business plan, shape the innovation and renovation strategy, and feed the innovation pipeline, with a particular focus on Europe and the Middle East.

You will lead innovation and renovation projects from early exploration through post-launch, working closely with local markets, R&D teams, manufacturing sites, and acting as the voice of the consumer.

You will contribute to achieving Bel’s innovation target of 6.5%.

You will report to the Global KIRI Innovation Manager and manage one Junior Brand Manager.


YOUR FUTURE RESPONSIBILITIES

Market Dynamics

  • Understand consumer and customer needs, as well as category trends in key markets.
  • Identify business challenges and opportunities in the main markets you will support.
  • Conduct product benchmarking against key competitors and inspiring brands.
  • Recommend new growth opportunities based on strong consumer insights.

Portfolio & Brand Strategy

  • Contribute to the brand’s strategic plan in collaboration with key local markets.
  • Inspire and co-develop portfolio strategies with countries for the product ranges under your responsibility.
  • Define the brand innovation pipeline together with local markets.
  • Work closely with industrial teams to ensure project feasibility.

Positive Innovation & Renovation

  • Lead cross-functional innovation and renovation projects to ensure full and timely delivery in line with the brand business plan, using a consumer-centric approach and building strong partnerships with Supply Chain, R&D, and manufacturing teams.
  • Secure full commitment from key markets to ensure successful project execution.
  • Validate project milestones, resource allocation, and project re-prioritization within the Brand Development Committee.
  • Challenge and approve country innovation and renovation requests, ensuring strategic relevance, leveraging synergies, and delivering P&L profitability.
  • Manage the innovation budget within your scope (consulting, design agencies, consumer research institutes).

Team Management

  • Manage one Junior Brand Manager and a shared intern.
  • Assign projects and responsibilities to support team development.
  • Provide regular performance feedback and identify development opportunities.
  • Build strong individual development plans, including training throughout the year.
  • Foster a culture of innovation.

This position is based in Suresnes, west of Paris, with easy access via the T2 tramway (Suresnes Longchamp stop) and several bus lines.


YOUR PROFILE: COULD THIS BE YOU?

You hold a Master’s degree (Business School or Marketing) and have at least 7 years of experience in marketing and consumer goods brand management within a global organization.

You have several years of experience leading innovation projects.

You are fluent in both English and French.

  • Good understanding of product value drivers (nutrition, sustainability, etc.).
  • Strong analytical skills, particularly in strategy, category management, retail/customer analysis, competitive intelligence, consumer insights (Nielsen/IRI knowledge is a plus), as well as P&L management and forecasting.
  • Strong consumer and brand orientation.
