CONTEXT

Within the Group Treasury Department, which centralizes nearly all of the Group’s Treasury and Financing activities, the Middle Office Treasurer reports to the Head of Middle Office and Bank Accounting. The role is responsible for ensuring compliance controls over financial market transactions, monitoring loans and borrowings, managing banking compliance activities, and supporting monthly and semi-annual closing processes.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Your main ongoing responsibilities will include:

• Reviewing and validating foreign exchange and interest rate hedging transactions carried out by the Front Office, ensuring alignment with the Group’s risk management strategy and compliance with exposure limits.
• Validating the setup of all financing transactions within treasury IT systems, including controls over maturity schedules, interest accruals, and related calculations.
• Valuing foreign exchange and interest rate financial instruments and assessing their accounting impact.
• Contributing to the preparation of the monthly Group Treasury reporting, including:
  • Cash position and debt reporting by product type
  • Debt maturity schedules
  • Financial income and expenses
  • Foreign exchange results
  • Hedging portfolio analysis
• Preparing and monitoring intercompany treasury agreements for subsidiaries.
• Managing the opening and closing of bank accounts, as well as user rights and authorizations on online banking platforms.
• Handling bank confirmations and maintaining banking powers of attorney documentation.
• Distributing monthly exchange rates and interest rates and updating them across various IT systems.

You will work closely with internal stakeholders including Front Office, Cash Management, Bank Accounting, Controlling, Consolidation, and Legal teams.

Externally, you may interact with banking partners and external auditors.

This position is based in Suresnes, west of Paris, with easy access via:

• Tramway T2 (Suresnes Longchamp station)

YOUR PROFILE – COULD THIS BE YOU?

• Master's degree in Treasury, Finance, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in Treasury within an international company, or in an audit firm as a Treasury Auditor.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS 9 is required.
• Previous experience working with a Treasury Management System (TMS).
• Professional level of English.
